⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Unique, Cozy Mountain Getaway! I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot Hills Resort in Dahlonega, Georgia! This unique shipping container cottage in the mountains was exactly as described and pictured. I was in town for the Gold Rush Festival in the historic downtown Square, and this was the perfect place to stay with my Golden Retriever. Jamie was absolutely wonderful—friendly, personable, helpful, and welcoming! Upon arrival, the lights were on, and the TV was playing a relaxing YouTube fireplace scene, creating an inviting atmosphere. The cottage had everything I needed, including a humidifier, mini fridge, microwave, and a nice-sized sink. The bathroom featured a rolling barn door, beautiful tile, and a shower with consistently great hot water. That night, temperatures dropped, and winds reached 37–40 mph. I turned the mini-split to heat, and the cottage stayed warm and cozy. I was especially impressed with the construction and insulation. The floors were comfortable underfoot, the walls felt solid, and despite the strong winds, I never felt a draft or any air coming inside. The engineering and craftsmanship were truly impressive! This cottage is thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and a great example of turning a shipping container into something special. I highly recommend Barefoot Hills Resort to anyone visiting Dahlonega, whether for a festival, a mountain getaway, or a pet-friendly stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

Stayed in the hotel for four nights, cleaning and replacing the towels have a bad smell, the same two towels one with a no, the same water has the same problem, a smell of detergent, unopened, shower spray, separate hand-held is bad can not be used, the room is abnormally dry and temperature does not matter, a layer of ash visible to the naked eye on the bed cabinet, the daily parking pick-up staff shortage, the morning to go to the car parking are time-consuming 10 minutes or so

The resort is amazing, the accommodations are very nice as well as clean . This was my second visit and stay at this particular resort. On this occasion I had booked for an overnight stay as I was attending the celebration of life for my brother. I had planned on having brunch the next morning however, the restaurant was closed for a private wedding event. That was a disappointment. I wish that I had been informed in advance that some amenities wouldn’t be available.

We stayed overnight enroute to Tennessee, We were treated to a breakfast of homemade waffles, muffins, sausage juice and coffee. we enjoyed meeting the other guess as well. Beautiful sunset
